 Ira H. Lapp is a lifelong New City resident. While attending Pace Law School, he served as a clerk for the Honorable Sondra Miller in the Appellate Division, Second Department, as well as for the Honorable Charles L. Brieant in the U. S. District Court, Southern District of New York. Upon graduating, he worked for a law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation. In early 2001, he became an associate with Richard P. Neimark & Associates. In 2005, he became a partner at the firm. In 2020, the firm became Neimark Coffinas & Lapp LLP. Mr. Lapp is an excellent legal writer and frequently defeats motions made by the defense. He excels at taking and defending depositions. He also does appellate work on behalf of the firm.
